I’ll be Here

March 3, 2015Lotus Leolonely, loss, love, settle, waiting, wanting Leave a comment

Wrapped up in your awareness

A speck on your horizon

I’m blinded by your light

Astride a horse as high as your standards

No one will do

But her

So I suppose

Until that day

I’ll be here

Waiting

February 18, 2015Lotus Leoalone, care, love, relationship, time, together, waiting 1 Comment

Waiting
I just cannot help
But wait
For you
My love, my muse, my nemesis.
For you
I pause my half-hearted sprint
Hopeful in your direction
Cast out time and again.
For you
I return
And I wait

Stillness

February 12, 2015Lotus Leoalone, edge, photo, rebuilding, renew, sitting, strength, waiting Leave a comment

Waiting on shattered ground
Pursuing a fragmented future
Picking up the pieces
And moving forward

But first, a long-awaited exhale
